Electronic document exchange reduces costs for small and medium sized-companies
Mayka is relying on SICO

Small and medium sized suppliers are more and more confronted with their customers’ demand for electronic document exchange. Should the companies give in to the pressure? Is their integration into the EDI world economically reasonable?
The theory promises that implementing such a tool is beneficial for all participants. The reasons for this are obvious: One argument in favour of introducing EDI is not only the minimization of human mistakes during the order process but also the chance to extensively lower the handling costs.
Although such powerful beneficial arguments are tempting, mid-range entrepreneurs doubt the transferability of these positive effects to their individual situation. At a closer look these concerns are comprehensible. However – with the choice of the right solution partner – causeless.
