The installation of SICO office has been cancelled with the error “Data Execution Prevention”

The Data Execution Prevention is a new and important feature of Windows XP Service Pack 2 which contributes to the protection against viruses and other attacks on the security of the computer. Unfortunately, it can also wrongly prevent the installation of SICO office. In case you get the error message "Data Execution Prevention" during the installation of SICO office please follow these steps:

1. Click Start -> Settings -> System Control and select System.
2. On the tab “Advanced” under Performance click on Settings.
3. On the tab “Data Execution Prevention” choose the option "Turn on DEP for all programs and services except those I select" and add “InstallAnywhere Self-Extractor“ to the list.
4. Now start the installation programme of SICO office (install.exe).
