Can SICO office be installed under Windows 2003 Server?

SICO office can be installed under Windows 2003 Server. Unfortunately, the SICO office installation programme is not prepared for Windows 2003 Server at the moment. The problem can be avoided though. Please follow these steps:

1. Make sure that the file “install.exe” is locally available on your computer. If the file is on a net drive, the compatibility cannot be adapted.
2. Find the exe-file “install.exe” in the Windows Explorer.
3. Click with the right mouse button on “install.exe” and select the menu entry “Properties”.
4. Select “Compability”. Note: If this tab is deactivated the file “install.exe” is on a net drive. In this case copy the file directly on your computer, e.g. into drive C:\.
5. Choose “Windows XP”.
6. Close the pop-up window with “OK”.

Now you can start the installation. After the installation is finished you have to perform the procedure described above for two other files:

• <sico-office-installations-folder>\SICO office.exe
• <sico-office-installations-folder>\SICO-Anmeldung.exe

After the compatibility of the files has been adapted you can start the SICO-Registration program. For this purpose please choose in the start menu the entry

• Start -> All Programs -> SICO office -> SICO-Registration

After having completed the SICO-Registration your SICO office is ready for use.
